1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Fix My Fit uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) on fixmy.fit. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies the EU ePrivacy Directive as transposed into Belgian law (Art. 129 of the Electronic Communications Act).
2. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It can store a session identifier, a preference, or analytics data. Local/session storage are similar mechanisms used by modern web apps; we treat them under the same rules.
3. What we use today
Strictly necessary (no consent required)
Required for the Service to function. Without them, you cannot stay signed in.
- Local storage:
token— auth token that keeps you signed in. Set by fixmy.fit. Cleared when you sign out. - Local storage: app preferences — UI state (e.g. selected bike, view toggles). Cleared when you clear browser storage.
Analytics, marketing, tracking
None. We do not run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar.
Third-party cookies (only on specific flows)
- Google sign-in. Cookies set by Google when you click "Sign in with Google". Only on that flow. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Lemon Squeezy checkout. When you upgrade, you are redirected to a hosted Lemon Squeezy checkout page. Cookies set there are governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
Because we use only strictly necessary storage on fixmy.fit and do not load tracking on first visit, we do not show a cookie banner. If we add analytics or any non-essential tracking in future, we will introduce a consent banner before doing so.

We may update this policy if we add or remove cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes are surfaced in the cookie banner.
